Refund and Exchange Policy

     You may return UNUSED and UNOPENED items purchased from us at our published retail price within 30 days of purchase. The customer is responsible for the cost of all return freight. Customers who are returning items must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. If your purchase qualifies for an RMA, we will email you a prepaid UPS, FedEx or USPS label. Please return the item packaged in the same manner in which it was sent to you. Please do not write on or otherwise mark the item. When we process your refund, we will deduct the cost of the return freight.
     The following conditions apply to returns; Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts is not returnable. Items many not be returned more than 30 days after delivery. Returned items must include all original packing materials, manuals, and accessories. Returns do not apply for items that are sold, shipped to a third party or where control of the item is transferred to a third party. This includes instances where an item comes under the control of a third party even if it does not leave the premises of the original purchaser. Clearance and Sale items may not be returned or exchanged. Items sold at a discount to our published website retail price may not be returned or exchanged.
     Items that are received in non working condition or become defective within 30 days of purchase may be returned within 30 days for a full refund of the published price. Tool Planet retains the right to receive and inspect any item where defect is claimed and to determine whether the item is defective. In the case of item defect, the buyer will not be liable for any return freight costs or restocking charge.
     Please be aware the damage done to an item in transit is not considered to be an item defect. All shipments are insured against damage up to the advertised purchase price. Carrier damage must be reported to Tool Planet within 10 days of receipt. Please inspect items immediately upon receipt so that we may process a damage claim quickly.
